Hand-painted in 2022 on Procreate, “Cosmosis” is the introductory piece from Ugonna Ikechi’s third solo exhibition In Translation. The Artist invites the viewer to ponder the metaphysics embedded in the fabric of (our) existence. Pulling from the idea that humans are created in the image(s) of our creator(s), this piece speaks to the notion that we — being creators ourselves — also co-create life and existence as we know it in our image(s).
